That’s right! Li’l Elvis Jones is back, alongside bandmates Janet and Lionel, for a brand new family musical adventure, blending nostalgia with a healthy dose of rock ‘n’ roll!
When brash, fast-talking property tycoon W.C. Moore—accompanied by his demure chauffeur Duncan—arrives in the outback town of Wannapoo, selling grandiose dreams of Subterranea, the world’s greatest underground theme park, Li’l Elvis Jones and the Truckstoppers, along with the rest of the Wannapoonian townsfolk, are quick to jump on board. But is this illustrious opportunity all that it seems?
Joined by a cast of characters from the original series, Li’l Elvis Jones and the Truckstoppers embark on an adventure filled with music, mateship, and a celebration of country and community in this brand new musical theatre experience for the whole family.
Brought to life by a national team of creatives with support from the original series writers and producers, Li’l Elvis Jones and the Truckstoppers – The Musical offers a chance to share this iconic story with a new generation.
Based on the original television series Li’l Elvis Jones and the Truckstoppers by Viskatoons and the Australian Children’s Television Foundation.

Accessibility
A drop-off area in the car park offers level access to the Stores Building and lift access to the main building. All Brisbane Powerhouse levels are lift-accessible, and the Turbine Platform is ramp-accessible. Ushers guide patrons to seats on entry.
Five accessible parking spaces are available for permit holders. A lift connects the car park to the Powerhouse Plaza entrance. Assistance from the car park to theatres can be arranged with 24 hours' notice. A wheelchair is available on request during visits.
Wheelchair accessible toilets are located on all levels.

BY BUS: 196 – Merthyr, Valley, City, Sth Bris, Highgate Hill, Fairfield (Every 10-15 mins) Closest Stop – Brunswick St at Oxlade Dr (480m walk to/from Brisbane Powerhouse, through New Farm Park). 199 – Teneriffe Ferry, New Farm, City, Cultural Centre, West End (Every 15 mins) Closest Stop – Merthyr Rd at Hawthorne St (700m walk to/from Brisbane Powerhouse).
BY FERRY: Towards University Qld (inbound) – City, South Bank, Milton, West End, St Lucia (Every 15-30 mins). Towards Northshore Hamilton (outbound) – Hawthorne, Bulimba, Teneriffe, Bretts Wharf (Every 15-30 mins). Closest Ferry Terminal – New Farm Park, end Brunswick St (440m walk to/from Brisbane Powerhouse, through New Farm Park).
BY BICYCLE: Brisbane Powerhouse is located on the Newstead-New Farm Bikeway, which connects to the city centre via the New Farm Riverwalk. There are secure bike racks outside of Stores Building, near the Brisbane Powerhouse car park.
BY CAR: Parking is limited at Brisbane Powerhouse. We encourage you to consider transport alternatives such as public transport, taxi, rideshare, shuttle bus, cycling, scooter, walking or river vessel. Otheriwse, parking options are below:
