This electrifying multi-media live performance showcases the deep and fruitful body of film scores by two-time Oscar Nominated composer and seven-time GRAMMY winning jazz trumpeter Terence Blanchard, whose lush orchestrations have augmented the humanitarian spirit and dramatic scope of over seventy films, from Malcolm X to Woman King to Red Tails. This incredible music comes to life at the hands of Blanchard’s sensational quintet and guest vocalists to be announced, accompanied by Chicago Philharmonic, with specially curated images of the films projected throughout the performance.
