Joining the St Petersburg Ballet Theatre for this production will be the renowned prima ballerina Irina Kolesnikova. Irina Kolesnikova has a wealth of leading credits under her belt, having been prima ballerina at St Petersburg Ballet Theatre since the age of 21. Her last Odette/Odile in Swan Lake in London was described by the Daily Telegraph as ‘truly a thing of remarkable beauty and technically flawless.’
Ms Kolesnikova will be joined on stage by an array of stars from Russia’s leading ballet companies including principal dancer from the Bolshoi Ballet Denis Rodkin, who has been hailed by the Guardian as ‘sensational’.
Other guest stars at selected performance will include Bolshoi Ballet’s principal dancer Yulia Stepanova, who will also dance the role of Odette/Odile and Mariinsky Theatre’s principal dancer Kimin Kim, who will dance Prince Siegfried.^
