Cabaret has endured the test of time, and is one of the most recognisable musicals around. There’s an exciting score by John Kander and Fred Ebb including “Maybe This Time” and “Money.”
For the first time though, Cabaret in London will be presented in an immersive environment, giving audiences the chance to escape for an unforgettable night at the Kit Kat Club.
The show starts from the moment you walk in, so make the most of your time at Cabaret. Just “Don’t Tell Mama” where you’re going. Book Cabaret tickets in London on TodayTix.
For Cabaret in London, the Playhouse Theatre will be renovated into an in-the-round auditorium. Audience members will be able to sit at tables to evoke a club setting, rather than a traditional proscenium arch theatre. As a result, the seating capacity at the Playhouse Theatre has been reduced to accommodate 550 patrons per performance.
The Cabaret musical was first staged in 1966 featuring Joel Grey as the Emcee. However Cabaret became a popular twentieth-century musical thanks to the 1972 Cabaret movie starring Liza Minnelli as Sally Bowles.
Life is a cabaret, old chum! Don't miss this revival of a Kander and Ebb classic, and be immersed into the Kit Kat Club with the incredible transformation of the Playhouse Theatre. Leave all your troubles at the door and see this seven-time Olivier Award-winning production of Cabaret in London's West End.
Cabaret runs for 2hr 45min. Incl. 1 interval.
Cabaret is at London's Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse Theatre, which is located at Playhouse Theater, Northumberland Ave, London, WC2N 5DE.
Cabaret tickets start at £55.

Cabaret has a total of eighteen songs, which include timeless gems from Kander and Ebb like “Don’t Tell Mama,” “Maybe This Time,” and “Mein Herr.” After featuring in the 1972 movie starring Liza Minelli, the producers added the latter two songs to later productions that were not part of the original stage show.
Joe Masteroff wrote the book for Cabaret, with music composed by John Kander and lyrics provided by Fred Ebb.
Rebecca Frecknall directs the London revival of Cabaret. She is best known for her work at the Almeida theatre, where she has directed various productions, including Summer and Smoke, Sanctuary City, and A Streetcar Named Desire.
Cabaret is not recommended for those under the age of 13. This is due to suggestive sexual content, references to abortion, an incidence of domestic violence, and anti-Semitism.
Cabaret is a stunning revival that received seven Olivier Awards in 2022. In their review, London Theatre raves about Cabaret saying, “The Kit Kat Club is the ultimate escape. After a difficult or even ordinary day, the fanfare, glitz, and glamour feel like a portal to another time, where a member of staff will greet you with complimentary peach schnapps, dancing chorus members, and a lascivious pre-show smorgasbord.”
Cabaret features a pre-show around different areas of the theatre before the main show begins. The Playhouse Theatre has been transformed into the Kit Kat Club and is a highly immersive production.
Cabaret includes a pre-show. To ensure you can enjoy the pre-show entertainment, we recommend arriving around an hour before your show begins.
