Following a two-night run at the Luton Holiday Inn conference centre, Mind Mangler: Member of the Tragic Circle has dusted himself off to make his West End debut at the Apollo Theatre, with a strictly limited six-week run. Book tickets today.
Mind Mangler is a night of mind-bending mayhem, and the brainchild of Mischief Theatre co-founders Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields, the writing and performing trio behind The Play That Goes Wrong. It stars Lewis as the ‘Mind Mangler’, with Sayer as his ‘Stooge’.
The show has previously been seen in New York and on tour around the UK. Join the hilariously hapless duo as they attempt to read minds across the West End with uproarious results. Book tickets on TodayTix.

Mischief Theatre was established in 2008 by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields, and their brand of physical comedy with elaborately choreographed stunts has won them a legion of fans. The Play That Goes Wrong was first performed in 2011 and has played at the West End’s Duchess Theatre since 2014, receiving Olivier and WhatsOnStage awards for Best Comedy.
The company’s other popular shows include Peter Pan Goes Wrong, Magic Goes Wrong, The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, and Lights! Camera! Improvise! Mischief Movie Night. They have also had several BBC television specials.
New York Theatre Guide’s review of Mind Mangler commented, “The mentalist’s stooge is played with hilarity by co-writer Jonathan Sayer” and “some of the best parts of Mind Mangler involve breaking set pieces. When trying to bend a spoon, the mentalist’s efforts instead cause a microphone stand to curve, and a lighting rig to descend” – see these mind-bending effects for yourself!
