Elton John is no stranger to musical theatre, having also worked on The Lion King, Billy Elliot, Aida, Lestat, and most recently, Tammy Faye. He will work alongside lyricist Shaina Taub to bring *The Devil Wears Prada to the stage with a book by Kate Weatherhead. The creative team includes set designer Tim Hatley, costume designer Gregg Barnes, lighting designer Bruno Poet, and sound designer Gareth Owen.
The Devil Wears Prada will open in London following a developmental run in Chicago in 2022. Before transferring to London in October 2024, the production will have an exclusive preview run at the Theatre Royal Plymouth.
