More information about Babies

Babies is a musical by rising stars Jack Godfrey and Martha Geelan. In 2021, the duo was commissioned to complete the musical after one of the show's songs, “Hot Dad,” won the British Youth Music Theatre's New Music Theatre Award. Since then, the show has seen success, having its initial run at New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich. It was on West End Live and in a series of concerts at the Lyric Theatre in November 2023.

"We feel very proud and excited to be part of the impressive wave of new musicals in the West End this year," said Godfrey and Geelan in a statement. "Babies is about what it is to be young right now, what it is to be questioning the future, how it feels to try and get everything right. We hope it speaks to audiences of all ages; all lived experiences. We hope there's something in there for everyone."

In addition to Bradley Riches, the cast includes Jaina Brock-Patel (SIX), Lucy Carter, Lauren Conroy (Shetland), Ashley Goh (Fury and Elysium), Max Mulrenan, Nathan Johnston (The Voice Kids), Viola Maisey, and Zoe Athena (Breeders).
