Clueless the Musical Tickets

Clueless is a musical by Amy Heckerling (writer-director of Clueless and director of Fast Times at Ridgemont High) with the original score by KT Tunstall (Known for hits like Black Horse And The Cherry Tree, and Suddenly I See).

“I want you to feel like you’re at a gig with all of your favourite 90s artists playing in one show,” Tunstall said. “And not just have a theatre experience but a concert experience [as the band] jump from one genre to the next.”

Clueless in London has a talented creative team, including multi-award-winning director Rachel Kavanaugh (Half a Sixpence) and Grammy-winning Glenn Slater (Sister Act The Musical), who wrote the musical lyrics.

The show first played a developmental run in 2024 at Churchill Theatre Bromley, which was a complete revamp of the 2018 Off-Broadway show that starred Dove Cameron. The show was a hit, and now it’s in the West End.

What to watch for

• In Clueless, many of the actors are making their West End debuts, including Emma Flynn, Romona Lewis-Malley, Blake Jordan, Rabi Kondé, and Emily Florence.
• When Amy Heckerling first pitched the idea for the story, she pitched it as a sitcom, but it ended up being created as a film instead. After the film’s release, a sitcom by the same name ran from 1996 to 1999.
• The story of Clueless is based loosely on Jane Austen’s novel, Emma, which was published in 1815.
• The 1995 film that inspired this musical starred Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd, and the late Brittany Murphy.
