Brace Brace is a play that explores how catastrophe impacts survivors' lives. The intense drama centers on Ray and Sylvia, who are among the survivors of a plane hijacking. While one is unable to focus on anything but the tragedy, the other closes themselves off, and soon, their relationship begins to suffer.

Brace Brace in London has an excellent creative team, including writer Oli Forsyth, who was the 2024 recipient of the Jerwood New Playwright accolade and received the inaugural Davidson PlayGC Bursary.
“This play started with one scribbled sentence, in the back of a book, on a long train journey. That it is now being fully realised by an incredible team in such a celebrated venue is more exciting than I can tell you,” Forsyth said.
Daniel Raggett (Accidental Death of an Anarchist) is the director, Anna Reid (Rock ‘n’ Roll) is the designer, Simeon Miller (The Sun Shines for Everyone) is the lighting designer, Paul Arditti (The Inheritance) is the Tony and Olivier-winning sound designer, Alex Payne (Opening Night) is the fight director, and Arthur Carrington (Bluets) is the casting director.
