Wolves on Road in London is by playwright Beru Tessema. He is known for his play Exile in North Weezy, which was shortlisted for the 2020 Papatango Playwriting Prize. Additionally, his play House of Ife was staged at the Bush Theatre in 2022 and was a hit with critics. Wolves on Road is Tessema’s latest play, which is also being staged at the Bush Theatre in a co-production with Tamasha.
Wolves on Road is a play that has an expert creative team, including Bush Theatre’s Associate Artistic Director, Daniel Bailey (Red Pitch, August in England), who directs the show. Lighting design is by Ali Hunter (Titus Andronicus), set and costume design is by Amelia Jane Hankin (Richard III), sound design and composition is by Duramaney Kamara (Instructions for Correct Assembly), video design is by Gino Ricardo Green (GET UP STAND UP!
