Scenes from a Repatriation is a play by Singaporean playwright Joel Tan. His other recent productions include No Particular Order at Theatre503, Living Newspaper at the Royal Court, and When The Daffodils at the Orange Tree Theatre. Tan is known for exploring his home city’s politics and society through his work.

Royal Court artistic director David Byrne said of Scenes from a Repatriation, “[it] has a cast of over 40 characters, none of whom appear in more than a single scene, in fact the only consistent character throughout is that statue.”
