Don’t miss, Hercules, the latest Disney hit film transformed into an energetic and entertaining musical on the West End stage. Book Hercules tickets on TodayTix.
Hercules is a musical that premiered in 2019 Off-Broadway at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, Manhattan, New York. In 2023, the show had a short run at Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey, and then in 2024, the show opened at Neue Flora in Hamburg, Germany. Now the family-friendly musical comes to Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
The musical is based on the 1997 film of the same name and is loosely based on the story of Zues’ son Hercules in Greek mythology. The show, which includes hit R&B and gospel songs from the film like Go The Distance and From Zero to Hero, tells the story of young demigod, Hercules. While his parents are Zeus and Hera, he grows up on Earth after being made mortal by the villainous Hades. However, he is still left with super-human strength and doesn’t feel he belongs. When he discovers the truth about his identity, he seeks to become a hero and return to Mount Olympus.
