See the story of magic, revenge, and forgiveness when Alonso, the King of Naples, Antonio, the Duke of Milan, and others are in a shipwreck, landing them on a remote island. The island is inhabited by the wizard Prospero, who was previously the Duke of Milan until Antonio took the position, causing Prospero to seek his opportunity for revenge.

The Tempest in London has a talented creative team led by Olivier Award-winning director Jamie Lloyd (A Doll's House, Romeo and Juliet).

As Lloyd told Deadline, "Sigourney knows her Shakespeare, she knows theater, and I could not be more excited that she has agreed to play this role."

The creative team also includes scenic and costume design by Soutra Gilmour (Sunset Boulevard), lighting design by Olivier Award Winner Jon Clark (The Inheritance), sound design by Ben and Max Ringham (Prima Facie), and music composed by Ben Ringham, Max Ringham, and Michael' Mikey J' Asante (Tree).

The Tempest is a play by William Shakespeare that is thought to have been written between 1610 and 1611. The first recorded performance took place in November 1611 for James I and the English royal court by the King's Men. Since then, there have been numerous notable stagings and adaptations of the play, including John Gielgud playing the role of Prospero multiple times, the first being in 1930.
