Miles From India Tickets

Miles from India, developed by visionary jazz producer/arranger Bob Belden and label owner Yusuf Gandhi after a discussion about the Indian instrumentation on the classic Miles Davis fusion album, On the Corner, is devoted to re-imagining the music of the prolific jazz master.

A fresh assemblage of the artist’s collaborators and major Indian musicians explore the deeply rich trove of the Miles Davis’ repertoire. The performance will include Rudresh Mahanthappa on alto saxophone, Tim Hagans on trumpet, Raman Kalyan on bamboo flutes, Rez Abbasi on guitar, Adam Holzman on piano/keyboards, Alphonso Johnson on bass, Vince Wilburn on drums, Taku Hirano on percussion, Salar Nader on tabla, and V. Selvaganesh on kanjira and mridangam.
