Composer Alan Menken and lyricists Howard Ashman, Tim Rice, and Chad Beguelin wrote the Aladdin musical's songs. Beguelin also wrote the musical's book, adapted from the screenplay by Ron Clements, John Musker, Ted Elliott, and Terry Rossio.
