More information about Gossip Girl Sites Tour

Gossip Girl is a six-season American teen drama television series that first aired in 2007. The series revolves around the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite high school students. The show, which had a two-season sequel in 2020, is set in the glamorous world of New York City’s Upper East Side.

Experience the cultural phenomenon anew with the Gossip Girl Sites Tour tickets and see locations from the show’s iconic moments up close and personal. Vehicles for the public tour depend on the number of passengers; you might ride in a passenger van or coach bus, á la Blair Waldorf traveling to the Hamptons. You could do a private tour and see the city as the teens of Gossip Girl would have — in a limousine! You know you want to take a Chuck Bass-style tour.

The tour does not stop at each location, so be sure to have your cameras at the ready to snap the sites along the ride. You can get off the vehicle for some incredible photo opportunities, so prep your pose on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art!

What to Watch For

  • Although the school in Gossip Girl is fictional, The Met steps are often frequented by real-life students. Students at the Marymount School, an elite Upper East Side institution, often visit the steps.
  • Constance Billard School for Girls was also inspired by an Upper East Side school. The Nightingale-Bamford School was founded in 1920 by Frances Nicolau Nightingale and Maya Stevens Bamford.
  • Characters from the show went to Yale for undergrad; however, the show wasn’t filmed there. Rather than filming at Yale, the show was filmed at Columbia University.
