A cocktail at a Broadway theatre can cost upwards of $20, but at the The Imbible musical, three craft cocktails are included with the price of admission. The Off-Broadway smash chronicles the history of spirits, liquors, and drinks in a musical comedy that’s so funny you won’t even need the alcohol. The show features everything from the science behind ethanol alcohol to the drinks served during Prohibition to the perfect ratio of gin to tonic.

Created by internationally acclaimed beverage educator Anthony Caporale, who also stars in the musical, the production is directed by Nicole DiMattei. Josh Ehrlich created the a cappella arrangements to familiar songs, which Caporale wrote new lyrics. Caporale, a former actor, left his stable degree in mechanical engineering behind when he discovered he loved bartending and launched a career of managing restaurants. He’s discovered his niche in educating people about the art of alcohol, whether through his popular YouTube channel or in The Imbible. “The show is a must-see for anyone who enjoys free booze, which is probably nearly everyone,” according to Time Out New York.

21+ only. Photo ID required. Please note: this venue is not ADA accessible.
