Including a score of Diamond’s most beloved songs, A Beautiful Noise features a book by four-time Academy Award®-nominee Anthony McCarten (Bohemian Rhapsody, Darkest Hour, The Theory of Everything), direction by Tony Award® winner Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, American Idiot), and choreography by Olivier Award® winner and four-time Tony Award nominee Steven Hoggett (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Once, Black Watch).
With his first break into songwriting in the 1960s and his meteoric rise in the 1970s, and plenty of crushing disappointments and heart-stopping triumphs along the way, Neil Diamond has maintained an almost unthinkable level of superstardom for five straight decades. How did a poor Jewish kid from Brooklyn become one of the most universally adored showmen of all time? There’s only one way to tell it: a musical set to his era-defining smash hits that entranced the world.

Good times never seemed so good! A Beautiful Noise, the story of living legend Neil Diamond, brings his greatest hits to Broadway. Get A Beautiful Noise tickets on TodayTix, and see the solitary Neil Diamond Broadway show.
Experience a journey through the unmatched life and career of this solitary man, created in collaboration with Neil Diamond himself like Jersey Boys and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical before it. The A Beautiful Noise musical jumps back and forth in time, with two actors playing the musician then and now. The older version of Diamond is no longer being able to tour due to Parkinson's, and as he reflects on his career highlights and most cherished songs, they come to life.
Audiences get to see Diamond from when he was a young Brooklyn-born upstart, who got his break after writing "I'm a Believer" for The Monkees. Soon, Diamond would step into the spotlight himself and become an award-winning, internationally celebrated performer.
Diamond now has a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award to his name, along with a Kennedy Center Honor and inductions into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. All his biggest hits are included in A Beautiful Noise on Broadway, including "Sweet Caroline," "America," "Cracklin' Rosie," and "You Don't Bring Me Flowers."
Anthony McCarten wrote the script for A Beautiful Noise. The four-time Oscar-nominated writer is known for the films Bohemian Rhapsody, The Two Popes, and The Theory of Everything, and for plays including The Collaboration, which also premiered on Broadway in fall 2022. Directing A Beautiful Noise is Michael Mayer; he also directed the revivals of Funny Girl on Broadway and Little Shop of Horrors off Broadway.
