"The Ten Commandments, The Musical," one of France's most successful musicals, is now coming to New York! Created by Elie Chouraqui, with music composed by Pascal Obispo, Lyrics by Lionel Florence and Patrice Guirao, adapted in English by David Serero.
Starring baritone David Serero as Moses, this production will mark the U.S. Premiere and in English language of this cult musical which assembled more than 3 millions audience members.
Pascal Obispo is one of the most successful singer/songwriters in the genre of French pop, who released numerous commercial blockbuster albums, scored Top Ten hit singles with regularity, embarked on multiple sold-out concert tours, wrote songs for a musical of his own creation, and collaborated with a long list of French pop stars. The lead single of The Ten Commandments, "L'envie d'aimer," was also recorded in English by Celine Dion.
The first singles of the U.S. Cast Album Recording are released and will transport you to the most beautiful story ever written.
The Ten Commandments dramatizes the biblical story of the life of Moses, an adopted Egyptian prince who becomes the deliverer of his real brethren, the enslaved Hebrews, and thereafter leads the Exodus to Mount Sinai, where he receives, from God, the Ten Commandments.
10 performers will bring you on stage this important story, starring one of New York's favorite performer David Serero.
