About SuperYou Musical at Carnegie Hall
SuperYou, a new musical by composer/writer, Lourds Lane, celebrates the story of a comic book artist who reconnects with her dreams and learns to love herself when her own superheroine creations come to life. SuperYou explores themes of overcoming grief, finding inner strength, and connecting to the power of one's voice, with it's powerful, rock-infused score & women-driven story.
Despite two theatrical openings shut down due to the pandemic, SuperYou staged socially distant drive-in concerts on pickup trucks in 2020, and amassed a global digital following with over 20 million views of #superyoumusical and "fan covers" of its music being shared from around the world.
