More information about Melissa Etheridge: My Window on Broadway

Etheridge is known for her raspy, smoky voice and for fusing rock, pop, and folk sounds in her music. Her career took off in 1988, when she released her self-titled debut album. Four years later, she won her first Grammy Award for the song "Ain't It Heavy," and as of 2023, she has 15 total Grammy nominations. She's also an Oscar winner for writing and performing the song "I Need to Wake Up" from the documentary An Inconvenient Truth.

Etheridge premiered My Window off Broadway at New World Stages in fall 2022. The production was called Melissa Etheridge Off-Broadway: My Window – A Journey Through Life at the time, and she played for a limited three-week engagement. The Circle in the Square Theatre, where Etheridge performs My Window on Broadway, is just down the block.

Amy Tinkham returns to direct My Window in New York. She previously staged the Off-Broadway run and is known for directing live events like the Dancing With the Stars Live! tour and Aerosmith's Deuces are Wild concert residency in Las Vegas.
