Wilkommen. Bienvenue. Welcome. Life is beautiful at the Kit Kat Club, and you're invited to enter it at this Tony Award-winning, immersive production of Cabaret! Get tickets to see American Idol's Adam Lambert and Moana's Auli'i Cravalho star as the Emcee and Sally Bowles through March 30, 2025 only.
Experience the musical like never before as the August Wilson Theatre completely transforms, immersing audiences in the wild, spectacular Kit Kat Club. From the moment you step in the door, you're surrounded by glamour, music, and dancing at every turn. But when writer Cliff Bradshaw enters this world in 1930 Berlin, he discovers how the hedonistic lives of its Emcee, headliner Sally Bowles, and more crash headfirst into the rise of Nazism.
Director Rebecca Frecknall's production, which won seven Olivier Awards in London including Best Musical Revival, retains all of Kander and Ebb's most iconic songs, like "Mein Herr," "Maybe This Time," and the riveting title track. After all, life is a cabaret, old chum!

Nearly 60 years after its 1960 premiere, Cabaret remains timeless. Cabaret premiered on Broadway in 1966 and nearly swept that year's Tony Awards, taking home eight awards, including Best Musical, out of 11 nominations. Kander and Ebb won Best Composer And Lyricist (now Best Original Score), and theatre icon Harold Prince won for direction. Joel Grey, who won for playing the Emcee, went on to win an Oscar for reprising the role in the 1972 film opposite Liza Minnelli.
Since the premiere of Cabaret in New York, the musical returned to Broadway three more times: in 1987, 1998, and 2014. The 2024 revival premiered in London in 2021, where it still runs today. Among its seven Oliviers were Best Direction for Frecknall and Best Actor and Actress for Eddie Redmayne and Jessie Buckley, who starred as the Emcee and Sally, respectively.

Iconic songwriting duo John Kander and Fred Ebb wrote the music and lyrics for Cabaret, and Joe Masteroff wrote the book. His script is based on John Van Druten's play I Am a Camera, itself based on Charles Isherwood's book Goodbye to Berlin.
Rebecca Frecknall directs the 2024 revival of Cabaret in her Broadway debut. Her production premiered in London, where it won seven Olivier Awards, including Best Musical Revival.
Some of Cabaret's most famous songs are "Mein Herr," "Maybe This Time," "Wilkommen," and the title track. John Kander and Fred Ebb wrote all the songs in Cabaret.
Cabaret is recommended for ages 12 and up due to sexual and suggestive content and mature themes, including Nazism.
Many consider Cabaret to be one of the best musicals of all time. The songs are timeless and the storyline riveting, and this production lets you come to the cabaret as never before by transforming the August Wilson Theatre entirely into the Kit Kat Club.
