Tooting Arts Club’s acclaimed production of Stephen Sondheim’s SWEENEY TODD THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET comes to New York City following sold-out runs in London where the show debuted in Harrington’s Pie and Mash Shop, the oldest continuously operating pie shop in London.
This site-specific production of Sondheim’s masterpiece immerses audiences in a completely new theatrical experience by recreating the original working pie-shop environment. Bill Yosses, former White House Executive Pastry Chef Bill Yosses (dubbed the “Crust Master” by President Barack Obama) serves as pie maker.
