Until Dark is a new play by the Italian playwright Federica Borlenghi. It reflects on consent and the intricacies of sisterhood, while testing its ties and boundaries. Synopsis: When Cass is accused of a heinous crime, her sister Jackie - a promising criminal defense attorney - decides to take over the case without blinking. When Lisa, their third sister, shows up in town for solidarity, she realizes there is more to the allegations than what she was told... The play is presented and performed by Et Alia Theater, a NYC based theater company dedicated to the work of international women artists. Founded by international women in the cosmopolitan city of New York, Et Alia Theater champions multicultural, women-centered storytelling in the performing arts and fosters a community of mutual support. By providing performance programs and artistic opportunities that welcome, support, and showcase international women artists in New York, Et Alia offers an empathetic creative space for people adapting to a new social environment.
