A fierce new story about love, survival, and everyday life in Gaza, A Knock on the Roof promises a bracing experience and an unforgettable story. No stranger to stories about contemplative and determined women, Oliver Butler directs and develops the work, returning to New York Theatre Workshop after staging What the Constitution Means to Me. He and creator Khawla Ibraheem initially met at Sundance Theatre Institute and now bring this topical new show off Broadway this winter.
