What happens when you ace the test but fail your friends? Find out in Natalie Margolin's new play, performed at MCC Theater’s Newman Mills Theater. It is rare for new plays to feature a cast made up entirely of young women, and All Nighter gives some of today’s newest stars a chance to come together and tell a compelling story. Shows like The Wolves and Men on Boats have given young women such a platform before, and Margolin is creating further opportunities for talented female performers while sharing a story that centers their voices.
In All Nighter, it’s finals week at a small liberal arts college. The hours pass, the pressure mounts, the Adderall flows — and as daylight breaks, are the friends as ready to face each other as they are for their exams? Margolin’s new play explores how, even for the people you love the most, there’s a limit to how much you can take.
