Cameron Mackintosh’s acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schönberg’s award-winning musical Miss Saigon is one of the most stunning theatrical experiences of our time. Direct from the West End and Broadway, experience this epic love story of passion and tragedy at the iconic Sydney Opera House.
Seen by 38 million people worldwide, this production is more thrilling than you have ever seen before with critics calling it "a triumph" (Sydney Morning Herald), "complex, fresh and wildly entertaining", (The Queer Review) and "epic in its scale" (Australian Stage).
Featuring rising star Abigail Adriano as Kim, Seann Miley Moore as the Engineer, and a brilliant cast of 42 including Nigel Huckle, Kerrie Anne Greenland, Nick Afoa, Laurence Mossman, and Kimberley Hodgson.
From the creators of Les Misérables, the soaring musical score features hits including “The Heat is On in Saigon”, “The Movie in My Mind”, “Last Night of the World” and “The American Dream”.

What to Watch For
You may recognise our leading lady Kim, AKA Abigail Adriano: while this may be her professional lead role debut, Adriano played Alice in Tim Minchin’s Matilda, and can be seen on the small screen as co-lead Rose in Netflix/ABC’s The Unlisted.
Speaking of Kim, Lea Salonga – who originated the role on Broadway in 1991 – was the first Asian performer to win a Tony for Best Actress in a Musical.
Keep your ears open to the widest range of far eastern percussion instruments used in any western musical, including baos (Chinese opera gongs), chū-daiko (Japanese taiko drums), kyeezee (Burmese temple bells), and Thai ching cymbals.
