“Well-behaved women seldom make history” – Laurel Thatcher Ulrich
If you loved Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill, Barbara and the Camp Dogs, or Robyn Archer: An Australian Songbook, you’ll love this dynamic and empowering musical extravaganza of extraordinary women throughout history.
They’re the women who led the way, who smashed the glass ceilings, and fought for their voices to be heard. Cleopatra to Malala Yousafzai. Frida Kahlo to Cathy Freeman. Mary Magdalene to Virginia Woolf. These women are legends. These women are united in being trailblazers. These women will make you laugh, move you, uplift you, and ignite you.
Following its world premiere at Joe's Pub, The Public Theater (New York), this musical by Carmel Dean, features the electrifying and charismatic powerhouses, Stefanie Caccamo, Zahra Newman, Elenoa Rokobaro, Ursula Yovich. Well-Behaved Women is sure to entertain, inspire, and raise the roof on Belvoir St.
Well behaved? As if.
