See Ewan McGregor (A Gentleman in Moscow, Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace) as he returns to the stage after 17 years. The star-studded cast also includes Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown, The Red Barn), Kate Fleetwood (A View From the Bridge, London Road), and David Ajala (One Night in Miami, Ruined).

This modern reimagining of the Ibsen classic begins on the evening of July 3rd in the Hamptons. The publishing magnate Elena Solness is tirelessly working to prepare a part for her architect husband, Henry Solness. Things don’t go as planned when a former student of Henry’s, with whom he had a previous sexual relationship, arrives at the party. Throughout this complex love triangle, sexual politics and relationship vulnerabilities are explored.

My Master Builder is a play directed by Michael Grandage, who is currently the artistic director at Michael Grandage Company and previously was the artistic director of the Donmar Warehouse.

Grandage said, "[it's] a privilege to open a new play in the West End and to bring emerging and original voices to as wide an audience as possible."

McGregor and Grandage have previously worked together on Othello and Guys and Dolls, both for the Donmar Warehouse.

"It's such a thrill to be returning to the stage – and to work with Michael again, an actor's director with whom I have had some of my happiest working experiences," McGregor said.

My Master Builder in London has an expert creative team, which includes costume design by Richard Kent, lighting design by Paule Constable, sound design and composition by Adam Cork, costume supervision by Lisa Aitken, and prop supervision by Kate Margretts.
