Named after its founder and famed actor-manager Charles Wyndham, the Wyndham's Theatre is a classic London West End theatre that stands on Charing Cross Road in the City of Westminster. Opened in 1899, the theatre was designed by W G R Sprague, an architect who was also responsible for many other West End theatres. It has a strong reputation for high-quality drama, which is part of its charm and attractiveness. The exterior contains a beautiful portico in the classical style, while the interior is adorned with luxurious ornate plasterwork. Over its history, Wyndham's Theatre has hosted a wide variety of productions, including 'God of Carnage', 'Art', and 'Donkeys' Years'.
