About Palace Theatre

The Palace Theatre is an iconic Red-brick playhouse that graces the heart of London, located specifically at Cambridge Circus on the corner of Shaftesbury Avenue in the City of Westminster. It's an impressive example of architectural elegance, with notable Richardsonian Romanesque style, designed by the well-renowned Thomas Edward Collcutt. The theatre seats more than 1,000 people, providing enough room for audiences to revel in the grand spectacles it stages. The Palace Theatre has housed spectacular productions from its establishment in 1891, notably hosting famous musicals and productions such as 'Jesus Christ Superstar', 'The Woman in White', 'Monty Python's Spamalot', and recently the critically-acclaimed 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child'. The venue is well-equipped with bars on all four levels and a merchandise booth for show-specific souvenirs. The theatre offers a unique charm, coupled with a historic cultural ambiance that leaves visitors in awe.
