Trade in the dull gray of the concrete jungle for the glamour of 19th-century Paris. Be immersed in a world inspired by the Belle Époque, a period in which the arts flourished and spirits were high.
The spirits in Cocktail Magique, of course, are alcoholic spirits, which inspire and feature in a variety of magic, burlesque, dance, circus, and musical acts that unfold not just on stage, but in front of, around, and even above the audience. Ever seen someone balance atop the nose of a champagne bottle or see endless liquor flow from a pint-sized bottle? Prepare to be amazed.
The sexy, lavish, gorgeously performed acts of Cocktail Magique off Broadway will intoxicate you in more ways than one, and you’ll never want to leave the show’s joyous and spirited world.
Fans of Company XIV’s past burlesque shows will find their signature mix of sensuality and spectacle in Cocktail Magique, and newcomers will want to come back for another round once they’ve gotten a taste. Get Cocktail Magique tickets on TodayTix now.

Cocktail Magique in New York is the latest production from Company XIV, which is known for its variety shows that mix highbrow entertainment, like opera and ballet, with lowbrow entertainment, like circus and burlesque. These shows aren’t like traditional musicals with dialogue, songs, and a clear plot, but a central theme connects all the acts within each show. Company XIV’s last show, Seven Sins, had song, dance, and acrobatic performances inspired by the seven deadly sins and the fall of Adam and Eve, and its annual holiday show, Nutcracker Rouge, is loosely inspired by the characters and world of the Nutcracker Christmas story.
Austin McCormick, a director, choreographer, and nightlife impresario, founded Company XIV in 2007 after training at the Juilliard School and The Conservatory of Baroque Dance — hence why all of Company XIV’s shows have a neo-baroque aesthetic. He conceives and directs all of the company’s productions and has been nominated for two Drama Desk Awards for his work: for Best Choreography for Rococo Rouge, and for Unique Theatrical Experience for Nutcracker Rouge. Outside Company XIV, his choreography has been performed at the Kennedy Center, the Metropolitan Opera, Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre, and many more iconic venues.
