With Lottery tickets, you can enter for a chance to purchase same-day seats to a show, or seats a day or two in advance. Simply download the TodayTix app, submit your entry for the day you want to go, and wait to find out if you won!

With Rush tickets, you enter to win same-day cheap tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. Go into the app at 9 a.m. when tickets drop, and be ready to buy! You can even set an alert to be notified when tickets are about to drop each day so you're ready. And if you don't get them for a show one day, try again tomorrow or keep an eye on the app, because more might release later in the day.

What is a Rush ticket?

A Rush ticket is a same-day ticket for a show. Rush tickets are available to claim and buy on a first-come, first-served basis on the TodayTix app each morning, and the ticket is good for that afternoon or evening's show.

What is a Lottery ticket?

A Lottery ticket is a ticket to a show that you enter to win. Winners are selected at random, and they will be able to purchase discounted tickets on the TodayTix app for an upcoming performance of their chosen show.

What's the difference between a Rush and a Lottery ticket?

Rush tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and are for that day's performance. Lottery tickets are awarded at random to a select number of entrants, and winners may be notified and able to purchase tickets anywhere between a few days before their chosen performance and day-of.

When are Rush and Lottery tickets for?

Rush tickets are for performances the same day, and Lottery tickets are either for performances the same day or up to a week away; it varies by Lottery. Most shows that offer Rush and/or Lottery tickets have them for each performance, but the number of Rush and Lottery tickets distributed for each performance is subject to availability.
