The Tempest Tickets

Prepare to be transported to a remote island where a sorcerer, his daughter, his servants, a savage monster and an airy spirit reside. This magical Shakespeare comedy explores themes of betrayal, revenge and family. Performed in our outdoor venue, the Gresham Estate, featuring convenient parking, a pavilion bar, and a comfortable sloped lawn for picnicking and great viewing.

Classic Theatre of Maryland's production of THE TEMPEST will be presented INDOORS at our theatre at 1804 West Street in Annapolis. Patrons may arrive between 6:00pm-6:30pm for PRE-SHOW PICNICKING under our outdoor portico. CTM’s full bar is available with table service. Patrons may order in advance from our restaurant partner SMASHING GRAPES or bring a picnic. Please no glass containers or alcoholic beverages. Picnics should be finished before entering the theatre at 7:30pm. No food or outside beverage will be permitted in the theatre. CTM’s bar will be available throughout the evening and all bar drinks and concessions may be enjoyed during the performance.

Lobby with Full Bar/ Coffee Bar / Concessions opens at 6:30pm. Please arrive early to enjoy our lobby bar ambiance. Drinks may be enjoyed in our theatre with our new souvenir cups. No outside food or beverages may be brought into the facility.

Minimum age to see a show on our Main Stage: Children ages 4 and older are allowed to attend most CTM Main Stage shows. CTM does not permit children younger than 4 to enter any main stage shows, as very young children may not be able to sit through long shows and/ or may make noise that can disturb other audience members.

The use of any recording devices, either audio or video, and the taking of photographs, either with or without flash, is strictly prohibited. Patrons will be asked to turn off all electronic devices such as cellular phones and alarm-sounding devices. The use of tablets, laptops, and cell phones is prohibited within the theatre and we kindly request usage be restricted to the lobby.
