Inspired by the film Hidden Figures, this event honors those African American women who were essential to the success of early spaceflight, propelling the space industry forward. Our distinguished host, Charles Bolden Jr.—former NASA administrator and astronaut—will share his experiences and insights along with special guest Debbie Allen, whose mother Vivian Ayers Allen was a “Hidden Figure” at NASA.
